Intel Labs China are looking for passionate, hard-working, and talented Research Scientists who have demonstrated outstanding research background and experiences in the natural language processing and machine learning areas, and have strong passion for researching advanced NLP techniques and building innovative applications on Intel computing platforms.

Besides technical expertise, the ability to work in a highly matrixed and collaborative corporate environment is required. The person must have demonstrated strong drive to accomplish high-impact results, setting tough goals for himself/herself and executing to it, energetic and positive spirits taking pride in achievements, and straightforwardness in dealing with others in a direct and productive manner. Excellent communication skills are required.

Basic Qualifications
1. PhD Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field or Master’s Degree with 3+ year’s experience.
2. Deep theoretical knowledge and hands-on experiences in natural language processing and machine learning.
3. Proven experience in natural language understanding/generation, morphological segmentation, part-of-speech tagging, parsing, semantic processing etc. Solid research track record with peer-reviewed publications in top academic conferences and journals in the related areas.
4. Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
5. Strong C/C++ programming skills
6. Excellence in technical communication with peers and non-technical cohorts.

Plus Qualifications
1. Development experience on Linux platforms and mobile devices (Android, etc).
2. Experiences in large-scale machine learning system developing
4. Performance optimization using SIMD, OpenMP, MPI, CUDA, etc.
5. Experience in developing algorithms to solve real-world problems.
