Lenovo is building a big data R&D center in Hong Kong which is a subdivision of a newly set up business unit called Ecosystem and Cloud Computing.
The center will carry out practical R&D projects including data analytics, machine learning, data mining, and cloud computing. These projects which will be directly applied to existing products/services and incubating new ones.

It is now recruiting a number of Researchers and Research Engineers.

Responsibilities:
1. Research, develop and apply algorithms to analyze large-scale, high-dimensional user data in Lenovo’s mobile and cloud business.
2. Develop prediction and targeting technologies to improve user experience and monetize big data.

Requirements:
1. Master degree of above in computer science, math, physics or related fields.
2. Strong background in math, statistics, optimization.
3. Experience in machine learning and data mining will be great plus.
4. Strong programming skills, at least 2 years in C++ and Python.
5. Creative thinking and self motivated.
6. Internship experience will be a plus.
