Full-time permanent Deep Learning Researcher position based in Hong Kong.

A. Responsibilities

1. Conduct technology research in deep learning, natural language processing, and natural language understanding.
2. Propose and design algorithm solutions for exciting text analytical challenges.
3. Conduct systematic proof-of-principle test and analysis for the proposed algorithms in lab environment.
4. Work with engineers and developers to realize the proposed algorithms in big data environment.

B. Requirements

1. PhD degree in computer science or related fields.
2. Minimum 3 year’s research experience in natural language processing, natural language understanding, deep learning, and/or machine learning with proven track record.
3. Strong numerical and reasoning skills with good understanding in research methodology.
4. Familiar with Linux and master at least one programming language (Java or Python).
5. Experience in Chinese language processing and understanding is desirable.
6. Experience in deep learning and TensorFlow are desirable.
7. Can communicate effectively in both English and Chinese.
8. Able to work independently but also in a team environment.
