Research Scientist on Deep Learning – 770545

Description

Intel Labs China are looking for passionate, hard-working, and talented Research
Scientists who have demonstrated outstanding research background and
experiences in the deep learning and deep neural network areas, and have
strong passion for researching advanced DL techniques and building innovative
applications on Intel computing platforms.
Besides technical expertise, the ability to work in a highly matrixed and
collaborative corporate environment is required. The person must have
demonstrated strong drive to accomplish high-impact results, setting tough
goals for himself/herself and executing to it, energetic and positive spirits taking
pride in achievements, and straightforwardness in dealing with others in a direct
and productive manner. Excellent communication skills are required.

Qualifications

o PhD Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field or
Master’s Degree.
o Deep theoretical knowledge and hands-on experiences in deep learning and
deep neural networks.
o Proven experience in deep learning, convolution neural network, recurrent
neural network, re-enforcement learning, robotics neuromorphic control, etc.
Solid research track record with peer-reviewed publications in top academic
conferences and journals in the related areas.
o Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures,
algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
o Strong C/C++ programming skills
o Excellence in technical communication with peers and non-technical cohorts.
Plus Qualifications
o Development experience on Linux platforms and mobile devices (Android,
etc).
o Experiences in large-scale machine learning system developing, familiar with
Caffe, ConvNet.
o Performance optimization using SIMD, OpenMP, MPI, CUDA, etc.
o Experience in developing algorithms to solve real-world problems.
