Responsibilities
1. Architect, design, and implement the next generation of our mobile / living room applications.
2. Work across UI, service layers, and backend technologies to create server-driven native client solutions.
3. Shine with engineering excellence by developing test infrastructures, writing documentation, ensuring high performance, and following an agile development methodology.
4. Write entirely new code and maintain and update existing code.

Qualifications
1. 5+ years demonstrated coding/architectural design experiences, a strong grasp of computer science fundamentals
2. Good leadership skills and proven ability to execute on projects. Demonstrated ability to attract talent, mentoring junior members, build teams and have fun
3. In-depth knowledge of web-service/data-driven application architecture. A good sense of what goes into making a successful consumer product
4. Experienced in developing mobile or web applications (iOS, Android, Webkit, etc), with a preference for experience with shipping applications on the Android / iOS / Smart TVs / Gaming Consoles
5. Broad cross-disciplinary development experience, including experience with test-driven development
6. The ability to jump into a project and contribute immediately to both architecture and implementation
7. B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering are preferred

Experience with the following technologies and applications is preferred but not required:
1. Java or Scala, Ruby, Python or other dynamic server-side language
2. MVVM framework, and experience on using AngularJS, KnockoutJS or EmberJS
3. Content security/DRM technologies
4. Video decoding/encoding technologies
5. Multi-tier web or mobile applications
6. Development experience on Xbox, Playstation, Apple TV
