Responsibilities:
1. To play a key contributor of continuous improvements in the quality of the content discovery and navigational convenience experiences in Hulu.
2. Revolutionize the state-of-the-art recommender system including but not limited to highly scalable online services, offline training and scoring workflow by leveraging big data and distributed systems.
3. Work closely with product team, program managers and engineering teams to deliver personalization and recommendation features.
4. Continuously optimize service response time, address challenges such as improving service availability and scalability.
5. Design, develop and maintain automated test framework and improve case coverage.
6. Improve and participate in the implementation of reporting/analytics tool to provide insights from algorithms and feedbacks.
7. Advocate engineering best practices, including use of design patterns, code review and automated unit/functional testing.

Qualifications:
1. 2+ years demonstrated coding skills and experiences in Java or other related programming languages.
2. Passion for technology, open to interdisciplinary work, and experience in building data-driven services and application.
3. Independent, energetic, highly technical, and capable of driving for results under pressure and ambiguity。
4. Ability to work with product managers, program manager, engineering teams to deliver great enterprise applications。
5. Demonstrate integrity, maturity and a constructive approach to challenges.
6. Extensive knowledge and hands-on experiences in machine learning related technologies will be a plus.
7. Experience in building recommender system and application will be a plus.
8. B.S.,M.S. or PhD. in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering are preferred.
