Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer you will have several responsibilities as part of a larger world wide software development team. You will work with the project architect(s) and a team of 5 to 9 other developers through analysis, design, implementation, test and deployment of new features. Ideal candidates should be motivated and enthusiastic software developers able to work under little guidance, with strong analytical and problem solving skills. They should be able to pick up new technologies and implement prototypes in a quick and timely fashion. Individuals must work well in a collaborative environment and be adaptable in taking on assignments that help in achieving the end goal of customer success. The primary responsibilities of this position will include, but will not be limited to:
o Helping with laying down requirements for new features
o Developing solutions based on the designs that fulfill the documented requirements and meet other goals such as user-experience, aesthetics, performance, reliability and scalability
o Working with other engineers in an agile development process
o Working with a QA team to ensure the final product is as good as it can be
o Providing support and guidance for customer deployment

Requirements

Technical skills: o Familiar with most of the following programming languages – Ruby(priority language skill) – Java, J2EE – JavaScript and HTML (priority language skill) – Bash/Windows batch shell – ANT/MAKE/MAVEN build scripts

o Solid understanding the following technologies and products – Business Process Flow (IBM BPM server) – Service management (ISM) – Provisioning workflow (VMC/vCenter,TPM/TSAM ) – High availability and disaster recovery (System P & X)

Others:
o Master’s Degree or very experienced bachelor
o English: Fluent (strong communication skills)
o Good Performance history
o Active and passionate for new technologies

Plus: o 5+ years experience in Software Development
o 3+ years experience in Agile Development principles
o 2+ years experience in Cloud Computing, or virtualization
